In 2004, HIVEX treatments were stopped, whilst HIVEX tried to obtain European registration for its equipment for the treatment of patients with HIV. Registration was refused. The authorities accepted that treatment was safe and significantly decreased programmed cell death (‘apoptosis’) of CD4 lymphocytes, but denied registration because the trials did not demonstrate primary efficacy against the virus .

Clive is well-known for his communications concerning HIV/AIDS. He encourages a positive attitude to dealing with the infection as well as trying to limit the victim-consciousness with can surround around HIV/AIDS. His autobiography, “Finding My Gift”, describes a BIG life and the valuable learning which can come from adversity.  http://www.indigo-man.com.

Clive was diagnosed HIV+ in 2005. In late 2007/early 2008, during a period of great stress, his CD4 count plunged from nearly 400 to 140 in only three months! He began to take Nevirapine, to which he proved highly allergic.  The drug caused a severe skin rash and he was taken off ARV’s for a month. He was then prescribed Truvada and Stockrin and did very well on them for about 1 year. While still in full-blown AIDS, he contracted PPE - very severe and protracted itching caused by a mosquito bite.  Recovery from this debilitating condition took 7 months.

In late 2008, Clive stopped taking his medication.  He could no longer afford them. This quickly precipitated a second bout of full-blown AIDS. He was very ill - CD4 count down to 137. Funded by friends,  he went back onto Truvada and Stockrin, later changing to less expensive ARV's – a generic combination of AZT (zidovudine), 3TC (lamivudine) and Efavarenz.

Clive is one of the group of four people whose progress through HIVEX treatment was  filmed in July 2010. We hope to make that film avcailable to those who want it shortly. Email us! Clive was very impressed by the positive changes in his health during and after his HIVEX Treatment and has been working as a volunteer to make HIVEX treatments available since September 2010.

In South Africa, the authorities have approved safety, and in 2007 the treatment was recommended for ministerial approval.  That approval is necessary to allow EMF treatment to be recognised and reimbursed by health insurance. Ministerial approval has not yet been given, but we hope that the current administration will grant it soon, this allowing treatment to be rolled out.

The treatment of four people was filmed in July 2010, This was funded by the founders of the charity, Life Stride Ltd. www.lifestride.org . Clive Harvey-Fox (pictured above) was one of those treated. See  http://www.indigo-man.com. You can read more about the treatment on the blog, hivex.blogspot.com.

Since Clive's treatment, upto November 2011, we have treated a further 1,100 people. Results of that number of people have significance, and those treatments have not been done as formal clinical trials. We simply do not have the resources for that. We would like to be able to treat and test large numbers of people in multi-centre trials so that we can show clearly what happens to the virus as well as confirming the established effects of the treatment.  We are fund-raisng for this, and for the roll-out of this technology.
